Installation Procedure

The push nut (1) which must be assembled to the sensor must be assembled in the correct direction and position (arrow).
- Confirm correct fit of push nut (1) by a push/pull operation and a tactile and audible "click".
Install headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor (2).
- Install headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
Connect electrical connector (1).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- After repairs, refer to Control Module References for programming and set up procedures.
- Aim the headlamps after installation. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .

NOTE:
The headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor must be positioned in a vertical plane (arrow).
