Installation Procedure

  1. GM2372544

    The push nut (1) which must be assembled to the sensor must be assembled in the correct direction and position (arrow).

  2. Confirm correct fit of push nut (1) by a push/pull operation and a tactile and audible "click".
  3. GM2372545

    Install headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor (2).

  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    The headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor must be positioned in a vertical plane (arrow).

  5. Install headlamp leveling rear suspension height sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
  6. GM2372542

    Connect electrical connector (1).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Connect battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  9. After repairs, refer to Control Module References for programming and set up procedures.
  10. Aim the headlamps after installation. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .
