Installation Procedure

  1. Install the headlamp leveling actuator to the headlamp and connect the wiring harness connector.

    Rotate the headlamp leveling actuator from the unlocked position (2) clockwise on the left headlamp (or counter-clockwise on the right one) until the headlamp leveling actuator locks (1).

  3. GM2190345

    Place the rubber seal (1) on the repair kit headlamp leveling actuator cover (2).

    Carefully position the cover (1) on the headlamp (2).

  5. GM2190348

    Drill two holes through the marked holes (1) on the cover

    • 6 mm (0.24 in) deep
    • 3.7 mm (0.15 in) in diameter

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Screw three 4x14 screws into all marked holes (1).

  7. Replace the low beam cap.
  8. Install the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
