Removal Procedure

WARNING:

CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the surge tank coolant fluid sensor (5).
- Remove the clamp (2) from the surge tank (1) and the surge tank bracket (3).
- Put the surge tank (1) aside.
- NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Remove the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe (1) from the master cylinder (2).
- Remove the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe (1) from the brake pressure modulator valve (3).
NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake pressure modulator valve inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
