Installation Procedure

  1. GM2027307
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install A/C TXV (3) and the 2 A/C TXV bolts (2) and tighten to 15N.m (11 lb ft).

  2. Use NEW O-Ring seals. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
  3. Install evaporator hose (1) to A/C evaporator TXV (3). Tighten nut to 19N.m (14 lb ft).
  4. Install the brake pipes.
  5. Engine Sight Shield Replacement - Install
  6. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging  - Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system..
  7. Leak test the fittings using the GE-39400-A  detector.
