Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  4. Remove the headlamp - right side. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .

    Remove the air intake duct (1).

  6. GM2028076

    Remove the condenser hose (1) and the evaporator hose (2). Remove the 2 hose nuts.

  7. Remove the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement .
  8. GM2028079

    Remove the condenser (1).
