Removal Procedure

  1. Airbag Steering Wheel Module Replacement - Remove
  2. Steering Wheel Spoke Lower Cover Replacement  - Remove
  3. GM3978311

    { If equipped }Electrical Connector(2) - Disconnect

  4. Bolt(1) - Remove
  5. GM3978312

    Electrical Connector(1) - Disconnect

  6. Remove the steering wheel horn contact plate (3) with the steering wheel pad accessory wiring harness (2) from the steering wheel.
  7. GM3978313

    Electrical Connector(2) - Disconnect[2x]

  8. Steering Wheel Pad Accessory Wiring Harness(1) - Remove
