Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column dash inner seal. Refer to Steering Column Dash Inner Seal Replacement .
  2. Lower the front suspension frame and steering gear as needed to provide the clearance necessary to remove the steering column dash outer seal. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement .
  3. GM2859256

    Remove the steering column dash outer seal (1) from steering gear.
