Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  2. Install the engine lifter to the engine lift brackets.
  3. GM2027418

    Remove and DISCARD the 3 transmission mount bolts (1).

  4. GM2027419

    Remove the 2 transmission mount bolts (1) and the transmission mount nut (2).

  5. Remove the transmission mount (3).
