Installation Procedure

  1. Verify the transmission range select lever is in the park position.
  2. Verify the transmission shift lever is in the park position.
  3. GM2191447

    Lock the range selector lever cable adjust lock (1).

  4. Install the instrument panel lower center compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Center Compartment Replacement .
  5. Install instrument panel center compartment mat.
  6. Install engine control module to battery tray. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
  7. Check the transmission range select lever in all gear selections for proper operation.
