Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition OFF, gear shift selector in PARK, ignition ON.
- Verify that S39 Ignition Switch can be rotated to the ON position.
- If the ignition switch cannot be rotated to the ON position.
Refer to Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated, or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder .
- Go to next step: If the ignition switch can be rotated to the ON position
- If the ignition switch cannot be rotated to the ON position.
- Ignition ON, parking brake applied, place the gear shift selector in NEUTRAL.
- Verify that the S39 Ignition Switch cannot be rotated to the LOCK position.
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the LOCK position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated, or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has NOT been performed
Refer to Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated, or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder .
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the LOCK position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated, or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has been performed

- Go to next step: If the ignition switch cannot be rotated to the LOCK position
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the LOCK position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated, or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has NOT been performed
- All OK.
