Preliminary Procedures Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement . Disconnect the automatic transmission range selector lever cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement . WARNING: After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury. Disconnect the transmission control electrical connectors.
1	Transmission Control Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

Disconnect the automatic transmission range selector lever cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .
