Removal Procedure

  1. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly - Remove Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement
  2. Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Nut (1) - Remove [3x]

  3. Engine Wiring Harness Ground Nut (2) - Remove
  4. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (3) - Remove [5x]
  5. Engine Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition away
  6. Oil Level Indicator (1) - Remove

  7. Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt (2) - Remove

  8. Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) - Remove
  9. O-Ring (3) - Remove
  10. Camshaft Cover Bolt (2, 5, 6, 7, 9) - Remove [16x]

  11. Camshaft Cover Stud (1, 3, 4, 8) - Remove [8x]
  12. Camshaft Cover (1) - Remove

  13. Camshaft Cover Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  14. Camshaft Cover (1) - Clean and inspect
  15. If replacing the camshaft cover, transfer parts as necessary.
