Oil Pan Installation

Clean the sealing surfaces.

Apply approximately a 3 mm (0, 12 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant (1) to the oil pan. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers for the recommended sealant.
NOTE: The assembly time, including torque check, must take no longer than 10 minutes.
Install the oil pan (2) to lower crankcase.

Install the 13 oil pan bolts (1) to the lower crankcase and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Mind the different bolt length.
