Intake Camshaft Installation

- Coat the intake camshaft (1) and the camshaft bearing caps with MoS 2 lubricating paste or engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers .
- Intake Camshaft (1) - Install
- Ensure that the camshaft notch (5) at the front of the camshaft is in the 6 O ' clock position before installing the camshaft bearing caps.
- Camshaft Bearing Cap (4) - Install [5x]NOTE: Note the identification marking on the camshaft bearing caps.
- Camshaft Bearing Front Cap (2) - Install
- Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt (3) - Loosely install [12x]
- Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt (3) - Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
