Fuel Injection Pump Shaft Lifter Roller Installation

Check the intake camshaft position.

Insert a plastic ruler (2) until it stops against the cam (1).
Draw a line (3) at the plastic ruler with a pen.
Rotate the camshaft (1) at the crankshaft until the lowest point of the plastic ruler (2) is reached.

NOTE: Second technician is required.

NOTE: Ensure that the guide pin (1) is in line the groove (3).
