Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Installation

  1. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Gasket (1) - Install a NEW gasket.

  2. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler (2) - Install
  3. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Bolt (3) - Install [3x] - Do NOT tighten.
  4. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

    CAUTION: Fastener Caution
  5. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Bolt - Tighten [3x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  6. Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor bracket (1).
  7. Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor bracket bolt (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
