Exhaust Camshaft Removal

  1. Mark camshaft bearing caps prior removal.

  2. Loosen the 12 exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts (1), working from outside to inside in a spiral in steps of 1/2 up to 1 turn.
  3. Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt (1) - Remove [12x]

  4. Camshaft Bearing Cap (2) - Remove [6x]
  5. Exhaust Camshaft (3) - Remove
