Exhaust Camshaft Installation

- Coat the exhaust camshaft (1) and the exhaust camshaft bearing caps (2) with MoS 2 lubricating paste or engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers .
- Exhaust Camshaft (1) - Install
- Ensure that the camshaft notch (3) at the front of the camshaft is in the 12 O'clock position before installing the camshaft bearing caps.
- Camshaft Bearing Cap (2) - Install [6x]
- Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolt (4) - Install [12x]
- Tighten the 12 exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in), working from inside to outside in a spiral.
