Crankshaft Balancer Installation

• EN-49979  Crankshaft Shock Mount Retainer

1. Crankshaft Balancer (2) - Install

2. Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (1) - Install - Do NOT tighten.
3. Tighten the NEW crankshaft balancer bolt (2) while fixing the crankshaft balancer (3) with the EN-49979  mount retainer (1) and EN-956-1  extension (4):

   NOTE: A second technician is required.
   CAUTION: Fastener Caution
   1. First pass to 250 N.m (184 lb ft)
   2. Final pass to an additional 45 degrees
4. Remove the EN-49979  mount retainer along with EN-956-1  extension from the crankshaft balancer.
5. Remove the EN-956-1  extension from the EN-49979  mount retainer.
