Fuel Injection System

The engine is equipped with a central direct injection system. A high pressure fuel pump, driven by the intake camshaft discharges the fuel to the fuel rail, where the fuel is stored with pressure up to 20 Mpa (2900.76 psi). The fuel is injected by electronic controlled fuel injectors direct to the combustion chamber.
