Fuel System Bleeding - Only Required if High Pressure Fuel System is Opened

- Open the hood.NOTE: Bleeding air from the fuel system is only required if the high pressure fuel system has been opened.NOTE: Fuel bleed procedure needs to be followed to avoid damage to dampener assembly between engine and transmission.
- Ensure all fuel lines are connected. If fuel pump control module fuse was removed to relief fuel pressure, install fuse.
- Start the engine and apply 50-80% throttle for 1 minute.
- Release throttle and allow engine to idle.NOTE: Metallic rattle noise may be heard from dampener assembly between the engine and transmission while air is being purged from the fuel system. Do not let off of throttle if noise is heard.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
