Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
  2. Retainer (1) - Remove

  3. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Inlet Pipe Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  4. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Inlet Pipe (2) - Remove
  5. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Inlet Pipe Gasket (3) - Remove
    NOTE: The gasket is reusable, inspect the gasket and replace if damaged.
