Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump (2) - Install

    NOTE: Do not apply lubricant to the o-ring on leak detection pump. Lubricant can be pulled into the pump resulting in damage to the pump.
  2. Retaining Tab (1) - Engage [2x]
    NOTE: Two audible clicks will be heard when pump is fully seated in bracket.
  3. Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump Hose (3) - Install Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  4. Retaining Tab (2) - Engage
    NOTE: An audible click will be heard when hose is fully seated in bracket.
  5. Retainer (1) - Install
  6. Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump (2) - Install

  7. Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump Nut (1) - Install [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  8. Connect the electrical connector.
  9. Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose @ Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump - Connect Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose Replacement 
  10. Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side - Install Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
