Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the drive motor generator power inverter module cooling system. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  2. Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  3. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Outlet Hose (2) @ Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank - Remove
  4. Engine Wiring Harness Clip Nut (3) - Remove
  5. Engine Wiring Harness Clip (4) - Remove
  6. Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (5) - (Double Studded) - Remove
  7. Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (6) - Remove
  8. Maneuver the drive motor battery radiator surge tank (3) up and out of the coolant temperature system control module bracket.

  9. Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  10. Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Pump Cooling Inlet Hose (2) @ Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank - Remove
