Installation Procedure

  1. Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Pump Cooling Inlet Hose (2) @ Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank - Install

  2. Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Engage Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  3. Maneuver the drive motor battery radiator surge tank (3) into the coolant temperature system control module bracket.
  4. Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (6) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (5) - (Double Studded) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  6. Engine Wiring Harness Clip (4) - Install
  7. Engine Wiring Harness Clip Nut (3) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  8. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Outlet Hose (2) @ Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank - Install
  9. Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Engage Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  10. Fill the drive motor generator power inverter module cooling system. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  11. Inspect for coolant leaks.
