Circuit/System Testing

P145C Pump Stuck Off 

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify the scan tool EVAP Leak Detection Pump Pressure parameter.
  3. Command the EVAP Leak Detection Pump ON with a scan tool
  4. The EVAP Leak Detection Pump Pressure should decrease greater than 1.5 kPa (0.21 PSI) from step 2.
    • If not within specified range 

      Replace the Q63 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Assembly

    • If within specified range 
  5. All OK

P145D Pump Stuck On 

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify the scan tool EVAP Leak Detection Pump Pressure parameter.
  3. Command the EVAP Leak Detection Pump Switching Valve Command to Not Venting position with a scan tool
  4. The EVAP Leak Detection Pump Pressure should not change from step 2 (within 0.2 kPa / 0.029 PSI).
    • If not within specified range 

      Replace the Q63 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Assembly

    • If within specified range 
  5. All OK
