Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Pipe Warning .
CAUTION: Refer to Clean, Dry, Low Pressure Gas Source Caution .
  1. Verify the following conditions do not exist in the EVAP system:
    • Loose or damaged capless fuel fill
    • A damaged EVAP purge solenoid
    • Disconnected, incorrectly routed, kinked or damaged EVAP pipes and hoses
    • A damaged EVAP canister
      • If you find any of the above conditions 

        Repair as necessary

      • If none of the above are found 
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  3. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  4. All OK.
