Conditions for Running the DTC

P040B and P041B 

• DTC P262B is not set
• System voltage is greater than 11 V
• Engine OFF for greater than 8 h
• The DTCs run continuously when the above conditions are met.

P040C, P040D, P040E, P041C, P041D and P041E 

• System voltage is greater than 11 V
• The engine is cranking or running
• The EGR temperature sensor is commanded ON
• The DTCs run continuously when the above conditions are met.
