P0089
The high pressure fuel pump has exceeded it's control limits. This condition exists when the high pressure fuel pump actuator command is 0° or greater than 101°. The condition exists for 1, 000 out of 1, 250 counts, approximately 50 s at idle.
P00C6 Condition 1
- If the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor is less than the target set point before the engine is cranked, the pressure rise diagnostic is used.
- The pressure rise diagnostic will fail if the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor has not increased to the target set point within 10 s at -16°C (3.2°F) ECT or within 6 s if ECT is greater than 0°C (32°F).
P00C6 Condition 2
- If the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor is greater than the target set point before the engine is cranked, the pressure fall diagnostic is used.
- The pressure fall diagnostic will fail if the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor has dropped below 2 MPa (290 PSI) for 10 engine cycles if the ECT is less than -8°C (17.6°F) or 0.6 MPa (87 PSI) for 10 engine cycles if the ECT is between 0 - 8°C (32 - 46.4°F) or 0.5 MPa (72.5 PSI) for 10 engine cycles if the ECT is greater than 16°C (60.8°F).

The actual fuel rail pressure is 3 MPa (435 PSI) less than the desired fuel rail pressure. The condition exists for 1, 000 out of 1, 250 counts, approximately 50 s at idle.

The actual fuel rail pressure is 4 MPa (580 PSI) greater than the desired fuel rail pressure. The condition exists for 1, 000 out of 1, 250 counts, approximately 50 s at idle.
