Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Using a suitable jack stand, support the rear of the transmission.
  3. Remove and DISCARD the rear transmission mount strut bracket to rear mount strut through bolt (1).

  4. Remove and DISCARD the 4 rear transmission mount strut bracket to transmission bolts (2).
  5. Remove the rear transmission mount strut bracket (3).
  6. Remove and DISCARD the rear mount strut to body bolt (4).
  7. Remove the rear mount strut (5) from the vehicle.
