Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to the Fuel Pressure Relief .

  2. Remove the J 34730-1A  gauge.
  3. Disconnect the quick connect couplings of the CH-37287-1A  Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter from the fuel feed pipe of the fuel rail and remove the adapter. Use a shop towel in order to catch any remaining fuel that may leak. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the quick-connect fitting of the fuel feed hose to the fuel feed pipe of the fuel rail.
  5. Turn ON the ignition in order to pressurize the fuel system.
  6. Turn OFF the ignition.
  7. Check for any fuel leaks.
  8. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
