Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Loosen the transmission rear mount bolt (1) at the transmission rear mount (5). Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement

  3. Position two floor jacks with wood blocks under the engine and transaxle in order to support the powertrain assembly.
  4. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. Loosen ONLY the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Refer to Engine Mount Replacement

  6. Loosen ONLY transmission mount transmission side bolts (3) at the transmission mount (5). Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side)

    NOTE: Only the transmission mount transmission side bolts (3) should be loosened. Transmission mount bolts (4) should remain tightened during the balancing procedure.
