Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection

  1. Inspect the camshaft journals and lobes for wear or scoring.

  2. Inspect the camshaft sprocket alignment notch for damage.
  3. Wash the camshafts (1, 2) in solvent.
  4. Oil the camshafts.
