Conditions for Running the DTC

P0506

• DTCs P0722, P077B, P0A3F, P0A40, P0A45, P0A46, P0C52, P0C53, P0C57, P0C58, P0C5C, P0C5D, P0C61, P0C62, P1B03, P1B04, P215C are not set.
• The system voltage is greater than 9 volts.
• The accelerator pedal position is valid.
• The accelerator pedal position is 1 percent or less.
• The engine has been idling for 10 seconds or greater.
• The vehicle speed is less than 2 km/h (1.2 mph).
• The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is 60°C (140°F) or greater.
• The commanded engine speed is steady within 50 RPM of actual engine speed.

P0507

• The commanded engine speed is steady within 25 RPM of actual engine speed.
• A scan tool output control is not active.
• The engine has been idling for 10 seconds or greater.
