Circuit/System Description

The body control module monitors the brake pedal position sensor and sends a serial data message to the both the electronic brake control module and engine control modules when the brake pedal is applied. The engine control module compares the correlation between the brake pedal positions and the brake control brake pedal position sensor to sense the driver's application of the brake pedal.
