Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

- Push the secure ring (2) against the spring force backwards.
- Lift the range selector lever cable retainer (1) in order to remove the mechanical connection between transmission control and transmission.
- Verify that the range selector lever cable lever is in position "P" by turning the range selector lever cable lever counterclockwise (arrow).
- Verify that the transmission control lever (1) is in position "P".
- Push the secure ring (2) against the spring force backwards.
- Install the range selector lever cable retainer (1) in order to install the mechanical connection between transmission control and transmission.
- The secure ring (2) must flip forward and secure the range selector lever cable retainer.
