Removal Procedure

  1. Front Grille Replacement - Remove
  2. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Remove

  3. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable @ Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (1) - Disconnect
  4. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable @ Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (2) - Disconnect
  5. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Clip (3) - Remove [3x]

  6. Using a suitable tool, release the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1).
    NOTE:

    While pulling, be careful not to damage (peel) the outside of the hood lock release cable.

  7. Pull the hood primary latch release cable into the passenger compartment.
