Installation Procedure

NOTE:

Be careful not to bend the hood primary latch release cable too much, keep the radius 100 mm (3.94 in) or more.

  1. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable - Install
    NOTE:

    While pulling, be careful not to damage (peel) the outside of the hood lock release cable.

  2. Pull the hood primary latch release cable into the engine compartment.

  3. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Grommet (1) - Install

  4. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable @ Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (2) - Connect
    NOTE:

    Check that the hood primary latch release cable is properly engaged with the hood primary and secondary latch.

  5. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable @ Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (1) - Connect
  6. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Clip (3) - Install [3x]
  7. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Install
  8. Front Grille Replacement - Install
