Removal Procedure
Clearance Adjustment
NOTE:
The door side upper and lower hinge bolts must remain tight enough to retain door adjusted position.
- Apply masking tape to the fender and the door edges.
- Loosen the front side door hinge bolts - body side [4x].
- Adjust the clearance of the front door according to the specifications.
- Front Fender to Front Side Door - Clearance
(A) 4.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.18 in ± 0.04 in)
- Front Side Door to Body Side - Clearance
(B) 5.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.22 in ± 0.04 in)
- Front Fender to Front Side Door - Clearance
Surface Height Adjustment
NOTE:
The door side upper and lower hinge bolts must remain tight enough to retain door adjusted position.
- Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
- Loosen the front side door hinge nuts [4x].
- Adjust the surface height of the front door according to the specifications.
- Front Fender to Front Side Door - Surface Height
(A) 0.0 mm +0.5,-1.0 mm (0.00 in +0.02,-0.04 in)
- Front Side Door to Body Side - Surface Height
(B) 0.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.00 in ± 0.04 in)
