Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify no other DTCs are present.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs 
  2. Ignition ON, verify the displayed engine coolant temperature matches the values in engine control module data on the scan tool.
    • If the values do not match 

      Replace the P16 Instrument Cluster.

    • Go to next step: If the values match the scan tool 
  3. Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
