Diagnostic Repair Verification
NOTE:
After a repair has been made, some DTCs require the ignition to be turned Off and then back On before the scan tool function will clear the DTC.
- Ignition/Vehicle Off.
- Install any components or connectors that have been removed or replaced during diagnosis.
- Perform any adjustment, programming or setup procedures that are required when a component or module is removed or replaced.
- Ignition On/Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Clear the DTCs.
- Ignition/Vehicle Off for greater than 60 s.
- Perform the Circuit/System Verification and verify the result ends with an All OK.—If available

If the repair was related to a DTC, duplicate the Conditions for Running the DTC and use the Freeze Frame/Failure Records, if applicable, in order to verify the DTC does not set.If the DTC sets or another DTC is present » Refer to:Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
