Conditions for Setting the DTC

The transmission control module has detected an internal malfunction.

P0601 

The read only memory (ROM), or the masked ROM, of the transfer case control module has failed the Checksum test indicating that the data is not currently valid.

P0602 

No application/calibration software found or calibration incompatible with application.

P0604 

The random access memory (RAM) of the transfer case control module has failed an operational test indicating that some portions of RAM are non-functional.

P0606 00 

The transfer case control module has failed an operational test indicating a processor performance failure.

P0606 37 (if equipped) 

The transfer case control module has detected a software malfunction (Watchdog Failure).

P062F 

The critical operational parameters stored in the EEPROM of the transfer case control module have failed the Checksum test indicating invalid data.

P064F 

The transfer case control module has detected an invalid calibration.
