Circuit/System Verification

Engine ON. Let engine run for at least 1 minute.
Ignition OFF for at least 30 seconds to allow for the complete shutdown of the K69 Transfer Case Control Module.
Engine ON.
Verify that no other transfer case DTC's are set.
- If any other transfer case DTC's are set
  Diagnose it first. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If no other transfer case DTC's are set
Verify that DTC C038D is not set.
- If DTC C038D is set
  perform the Range Actuator Learn procedure. Refer to Transfer Case High/Low Clutch Reset .
- If DTC C038D is NOT set
All OK.
