Preliminary Procedures Remove the 3rd row seat back cover and pad. Refer to 3rd Row Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (40%)3rd Row Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (60%) . Remove the 3rd row seat back hinge finish cover. Refer to 3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (40% Inboard with AS8)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (40% Outboard with AS8)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (60% Inboard with AS8)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (60% Outboard with AS8)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (60% Inboard with ARN)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (60% Outboard with ARN)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (40% Outboard with ARN)3rd Row Seat Back Hinge Finish Cover Replacement (40% Inboard with ARN) .
1	3rd Row Seat Back Pivot Actuator Motor Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft) NOTE: The seat back frame is under spring tension. When the motor is removed, the seat frame will suddenly spring into the folded position.
2	3rd Row Seat Back Pivot Actuator Motor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Slide the motor off of the gear keyed bracket on the frame. Transfer the mounting bracket, if necessary.

CAUTION:

Tighten
28 N.m (21 lb ft)

NOTE:

The seat back frame is under spring tension. When the motor is removed, the seat frame will suddenly spring into the folded position.
