Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (40% Bench)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove Rear Seat Riser Finish Cover. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Finish Cover Replacement 
  2. Remove Rear Seat Strut. Refer to Rear Seat Strut Replacement 
  3. Remove Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (60/40 Bench) 
1 Rear Seat Inner and Outer Recliner Fastener (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2 Rear Seat Riser Outer Fastener (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
3 Rear Seat Cushion Frame

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the recliner cables from the cushion frame and recliner assembly.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
NOTE:

Note the routing of the recliner cables for installation.
