Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (Passenger Side with 6-way Power)

Preliminary Procedure 
Remove Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement 
1 Driver or Passenger Seat Back Frame Fastener (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat recliner control bracket.
  2. Clean the thread locking compound from the bolts and reapply new thread locker. The bolts are held in by Blue 242® medium strength loctite.

Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2 Front Seat Adjuster Front Spacer
NOTE:

Installed on the outboard side only.
3 Front Seat Adjuster Stop (Qty: 2)
NOTE:

When replacing the seat cushion frame, ensure the front seat adjuster stops are installed. The frame may need to be adjusted to access the stops.
4 Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Transfer components as necessary.
