Battery Negative Cable Replacement (without KL9)

Preliminary Procedures Turn the ignition OFF. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without Start/Stop) and Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With Start/Stop) .
1	Body Harness Ground Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Battery Current Sensor Connector
3	Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Nut Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
4	Battery Negative Cable Procedure Note the location of the current sensor. Cut the tape retaining the battery current sensor to the battery negative cable. Slide negative battery cable through current sensor. Transfer the current sensor to the NEW battery negative cable, in the same location.
