Preliminary Procedure Thoroughly clean the camshaft cover and mating surfaces. Inspect each component, O-rings and fasteners, and replace as necessary. Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
1	Camshaft Cover WARNING: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Warning . Procedure: Use the compressed air to clear the primary PC port and high pressure input passages. NOTE: Disassemble the camshaft cover components before using compressed air. Use a rubber tipped compressed air blow nozzle to clear the oil passages in the camshaft cover. Use the compressed air to clear the oil feed to low pressure drip rail passages. Ensure there is air flow through both the intake and exhaust side of the drip rail. Replace the camshaft cover if the air flow is restricted or cannot be verified, indicating a whole or partial obstruction. NOTE: Potential debris present in the drip rail passages will accumulate in the drip rails. Debris may or may not obstruct the air and/or oil flow through the drip rail.

4	Camshaft Position Actuator Control Solenoid Valve Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)

6	PCV Valve O-ring
7	PCV Valve Bolt Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
8	Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Assembly
9	Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Assembly Gasket
10	Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Assembly Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Install the bolts by hand finger tight.
11	Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Assembly Bolt Procedure Tighten the valve rocker arm oil control valve assembly bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten the bolts a first pass to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Tighten the bolts a final pass to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
12	PCV Valve
13	PCV Valve O-Ring
14	PCV Valve Bolt Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
15	Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Tighten 35 N.m (26 lb ft)
16	PCV Valve Orifice NOTE: When the orifice is removed, discard and replace with a NEW orifice.
