Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Cleaning and Inspection

Clean the flywheel (2) in solvent.

Dry the flywheel with compressed air.
WARNING: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
Inspect the flywheel for the following:
- Damaged ring gear teeth.
- Stress cracks around the flywheel-to-crankshaft bolt hole locations.
- Weight saving holes.
