Upper Valvetrain Slapping Noise at High Speeds (LKW)

Cause Correction
Intake rocker arms stuck in low Lift. (Vibrates at idle, park, neutral, 1st gear, 2nd gear and on acceleration when commanded into high lift.) Check intake rocker arm assembly to see if pin is stuck in extended position. Exercise rocker arm pins. Replace rocker arm if stuck. Refer to Intake Valve Rocker Arm Replacement (LKW) .
